NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.
We are looking for an AI Engineering Manager to join the Finance AI team at NVIDIA. In this role, you'll lead a small team of AI engineers building the AI solutions that Finance runs on - and pressure test vendor driven finance AI solutions. You'll direct your own fleet of agents reviewing and contributing code, onboard exciting new tools and technologies, and leverage deep finance knowledge to guide your team in applying the right technology to the right problem. Does this sound like the pioneering opportunity you've been seeking? We'd love for you to join us on this journey!
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with the CFO org (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Procurement) to find the highest-value problems and turn them into AI applications, agents, and automation.
- Set the technical direction and quality bar for how Finance builds and ships AI, learning and shipping the best emerging technologies to the organization.
- Stay hands-on — review designs and code, make the hard technical calls, and set the standard for engineering quality on agents, retrieval pipelines, and model integrations.
- Own the technical evaluation of new external AI vendors end to end: define selection criteria, run structured POCs and bake-offs, pressure-test capability and cost, and make clear build-vs-buy recommendations.
- Scale the team's output as AI adoption spreads across Finance, establishing reusable components, patterns, and standards so each new use case is faster than the last.
What we need to see:
- Experience leading engineering teams that ship production software — as a manager, tech lead, or player-coach.
- Hands-on depth building AI systems and fluency in the data and system architecture that supports them.
- A track record of delivering technology against real business problems, in finance or another data-rich, regulated domain.
- 10+ overall years in software/AI engineering, including time leading teams and owning technical delivery.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Additional finance or accounting credentials are a strong plus.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Clear communicator who moves fluidly between engineers and finance/business leaders and drives decisions across both.
- Experience running formal vendor evaluations, POCs, or build-vs-buy analyses alongside security, procurement, and compliance partners.
- An enthusiastic consumer of the latest AI research and product releases — you try the new models and frameworks yourself and have opinions about where they'll actually hold up.
