Potential NCG opportunities in this field include:
Autonomous Vehicles
Developing and training state-of-the-art Deep Neural Networks for path generation
Collecting training datasets and real-time inference run-times using simulators/gyms as well as performing in-vehicle tests
Robotics:
Embodied AI: Build and deploy full-stack embodied AI systems for dexterous manipulation, whole-body control, and sensorized human-robot interaction, leveraging NVIDIA Isaac, Omniverse, and Cosmos to bridge simulation and real-world deployment across industrial and everyday environments.
Simulation: Build and scale core simulation and training infrastructure on Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab, combining high-fidelity physics and GPU computing to accelerate sim-to-real transfer for next-generation humanoid robots.
Deployment: Integrate cutting-edge physical AI into NVIDIA's humanoid robot reference platform, bridging simulation and real-world deployment through full-stack perception, decision, and control pipelines, while collaborating across robotics, systems, and AI teams to solve system-level engineering challenges and deliver reliable performance in industrial and everyday applications.
What we need to see:
Expected to graduate in 2027 with a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Programming skills and technologies: C, C++, CUDA, ROS, Python, OpenGL, Linux, Sensor Input Devices (LiDAR, cameras, radars), Training Frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)
For Robotics role, hands-on experience with robot simulation platforms (Isaac Sim/Lab, MuJoCo, Gazebo) and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Proven track record in sim-to-real and real-to-sim transfer
