We are looking for a Senior Circuit Methodology Engineer to define and drive circuit methodologies across GPUs and SoCs, driving circuit behavior, performance, quality, and product readiness. You will oversee methodology development, validation strategies, feature readiness, and silicon learning loops, translating product requirements into design methodologies and turning hard circuit and silicon problems into reusable methods, better decisions, and stronger roadmaps. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in semiconductor/VLSI design and a background in translating product requirements into design and vice versa. This is a highly visible, multi-functional role focused on building methodologies that help products meet SOL(Speed Of Light) milestones and achieve the high NVIDIA quality bar our customers expect.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead & Deliver: Lead circuit methodology direction and delivery covering circuit behavior, performance, quality, feature readiness, and release criteria from pre-silicon through productization.

  • Prototyping & Left-Shift: Accelerate NPI through left-shift characterization, prototyping, and early validation methods that reduce downstream risk and improve execution readiness.

  • Navigate Complexity: Turn incomplete silicon data into hypothesis trees, measurement plans, and practical paths to closure; evaluate multi-functional impacts and drive tradeoffs across performance, quality, coverage, cost, and schedule.

  • Methodology & Reuse: Translate feature goals and circuit behavior into executable requirements, validation strategies, screening plans, reusable frameworks, tools, and best practices across programs.

  • Strategic Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with multiple cross-functional teams to align feature intent, execution, and release readiness across programs.

  • AI-Driven Engineering: Build secure, traceable, and validated AI-assisted workflows for analysis, debug, and methodology automation, with human oversight for critical engineering judgments.

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8+ years of semiconductor design experience, including strong technical leadership in complex silicon or circuit methodology work.

  • Expertise in bridging hardware and software specifications with silicon implementation.

  • Track record delivering prototyping, left-shift, and silicon-correlation methodologies covering circuit behavior, performance, quality, and product readiness.

  • Solid background in silicon bring-up, validation, test coverage optimization, yield ramp, and quality issue resolution.

  • Demonstrated success driving cross-functional technical execution to meet critical project deliverables.

  • Practical hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and AI-augmented engineering workflows.

  • Track record creating reusable methods or tools adopted across teams or programs.

  • Exceptional communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Hands-on experience designing GPU, CPU, SoC, AI accelerators, or data center silicon.

  • Familiarity with RAG, AI agents, tool invocation, LLM benchmarking, and engineering workflow automation.

  • Proven record of technical innovation through shipped methods, tools, debug systems, patents, or published technical works.
