Senior Revenue Accountant – Revenue Accounting Operations

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Revenue Accounting organization based out of our Santa Clara office. In this role, you will collaborate with FP&A, Business Operations, Sales Operations, and IT to ensure accurate, complete, and timely revenue accounting execution across NVIDIA's revenue streams. You will gain deep insight into NVIDIA's products, pricing strategies, and order-to-cash processes, and contribute meaningfully to business operations. As an integral member of the Revenue Accounting team, you will be responsible for providing financial information that is insightful and visible to NVIDIA's senior leaders to support effective business decisions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensure timely execution of month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Oversee system billing activity and conduct validations of revenue transactions to ensure compliance with SOX requirements, including completeness and accuracy of revenue.
• Review custom engineering services arrangements and issue milestone-based invoices, partnering with account managers on project progress.
• Validate part number setup for new product introductions and existing product changes, using various data points to determine systematic revenue and accounting treatment.
• Support accounting IT projects including system design, implementation of business and accounting requirements, testing, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance for ERP upgrades and other system implementations.
• Leverage AI and data analytics tools to automate existing processes, proactively detect anomalies, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement across billing operations.
• Support internal and external auditors by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations related to revenue accounting.
• Stay current on evolving accounting guidance (ASC 606, ASC 450), AI capabilities, and emerging technologies that enhance accounting analysis and operational efficiency.
• Support ad hoc projects for the Revenue Accounting team.

What We Need to See:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting. CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of public accounting and/or related revenue accounting experience at a large public company. Prior billing, RMA, or order-to-cash experience is a plus.
• Detailed knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
• Hands-on SAP experience required, including SD, FI, and/or RAR modules; familiarity with billing T-code strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA testing (UAT, regression, or cutoff) preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, passionate about data integrity, and able to solve complex problems.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 195,500 USD.Applications for this job will be accepted at least until October 2, 2026.
