As a Tegra System Software Engineer at NVIDIA, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the next generation of computing. Our team is dedicated to developing world-class systems and solutions that power everything from AI to self-driving cars. What you'll be doing:

  • Designing, crafting and developing system software relevant to ARM's Trusted Firmware Stack - Hafnium, TF-A, RMM.

  • Involving in sophisticated and next generation CPU architecture that drives our Tegra platform.

  • Work with upstream community to develop software for latest ARM technologies such as Confidential Compute and help drive improvements to various specs like PSCI, FFA, RMI.

  • Solve complex issues around power, performance and security in the Trusted Framework Stack.

  • Participate in architectural explorations which include feasibility studies, safety evaluations and CPU performance analysis.

  • Perform development & bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and Systems

  • Developing highly performant low level device drivers for Nvidia's Tegra platforms maintaining our world-class standards.

  • Reviewing architecture documents and taking the design from spec to productization.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with embedded systems and device driver development.

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.

  • Deep understanding of operating system fundamentals and computer architecture concepts such as MMU, Cache Coherency, TLB, Timers, ISRs is a must.

  • Knowledge on any ARM trusted components or bootloaders or hypervisors or UEFI is a plus.

  • Knowledge in Safety and Security standards such as ISO26262, CERT-C and MISRA-C would be a plus.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

  • Proficiency in using agentic AI tools for producing high quality and performant systems.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD for Level 2, and 152,000 USD - 241,500 USD for Level 3.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
