Venture Development Intern (f/m/x)

Our goal is to have a solar system on every roof, a storage unit in every house, and an electric car in every garage. Enpal makes this possible with an integrated total solution for decentralized energy—from solar systems and battery storage to wall boxes, smart meters, and heat pumps. Enpal Energy is Enpal’s electricity division, making clean energy accessible to every household—from Germany’s most affordable electricity rates to smart energy solutions that optimally integrate generation, storage, and consumption.

In doing so, we combine startup agility with the scale of a market leader—across all areas, from operations and technology to finance, customer support, and product development.

What you'll do

• You analyse and understand business processes, identify inefficiencies, and uncover opportunities for improvement.

• You collaborate closely with stakeholders across different teams to gather requirements, structure challenges, and translate business needs into clear solutions.

• You investigate existing workflows, data flows, and operational structures to create transparency and support informed decision-making.

• You support strategic and operational projects from problem definition through implementation.

• You document processes, requirements, and business rules in a structured and comprehensible way.

• You support the optimization and standardization of business processes and help establish scalable ways of working across the organization.

What you'll bring

• You are currently studying Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field.

• You combine strong analytical thinking with a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate.

• You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy investigating how systems, processes, and data flows interact across an organization.

• Experience with tools such as GitHub, Claude Code, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.

• You work in a structured and solution-oriented way, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

• You are highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.

• You learn quickly and enjoy exploring unfamiliar topics across different business domains.

• You speak fluent English, German is a plus.
