We’re looking for a seasoned attorney to join the NVIDIA team as Director – Legal, Strategic Sourcing, IP & Infrastructure focusing on the intellectual property, technology, and commercial issues at the center of NVIDIA’s strategic supply chain operations and sourcing, procurement initiatives, and infrastructure development matters. You’ll partner closely with NVIDIA’s other attorneys, business leaders, outside counsel, and internal stakeholders to support the adoption of AI and the world’s next industrial revolution.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Shape and execute the legal strategy for NVIDIA’s global supply chain, procurement projects, and infrastructure initiatives in service of the NVIDIA business.

  • Lead negotiations of engineering collaboration agreements and other technology transactions, including ownership issues and licensing structures to enable downstream use of NVIDIA’s technology.

  • Drive complex commercial agreements across procurement, supply chain, and product development.

  • Support strategy and execution of infrastructure development projects, from project inception to delivery.

  • Partner with business leaders, finance, and outside counsel to deliver clear, commercially grounded advice on high-stakes transactions.

  • Build scalable legal infrastructure: playbooks, templates, and trainings that enable business and legal teams to move fast and execute NVIDIA’s mission.

What we need to see:

  • 15+ overall years of relevant legal experience, including in-house or law firm experience, supporting supply-chain operations, product procurement initiatives, and commercial contracting.

  • 6+ years of demonstrated ability to lead teams and initiatives to drive complex, multi-party transactions to close.

  • Substantial experience negotiating technology transactions, including IP ownership, license scope, and downstream technology rights with hardware and technology partners.

  • Deep familiarity with substrate, component and supply chain sourcing strategies and the agreements that govern them.

  • Exceptional drafting skills, with a track record of producing clear, precise, and tailored agreements across a range of transaction types.

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school; admitted to the bar and in good standing in the jurisdiction of hire, or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status).

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • 8+ years of relevant in-house legal experience is highly preferred.

  • Ability to navigate and break down complex legal issues into actionable advice covering a broad range of interdependent issues, balance risk with business need, and ask tough questions.

  • Proven ability to deliver results in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Self-starter who excels at managing projects, prioritizing tasks and working both collaboratively with many different stakeholders and independently.

  • Experience in infrastructure development or datacenter projects, fiber acquisition deals, and power purchase agreements.

  • Prior experience in litigation or judicial clerkships are welcome.
