Our Marketing team is responsible for shaping how the world understands Kraken - who we are, what we stand for, and the impact we’re here to make. The team brings together brand, communications, content, campaigns, growth, and product marketing to tell compelling stories, build trust with our audiences, and support Kraken’s continued growth.
Working in Marketing at Kraken means being close to the business, our customers, and the market. You’ll help translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messaging; create campaigns that drive awareness and action; and partner closely with teams across the organisation to bring our mission to life. We’re looking for people who combine creativity with commercial thinking, strong execution, and a collaborative mindset.
🚀 What you’ll own:
Shape our US go-to-market strategy for Kraken Flexibility:
Partner with the General Manager, Head of Sales and Head of Product to define and evolve the US go-to-market strategy.
Identify market opportunities, target segments and expansion priorities.
Develop recommendations on market entry, positioning and commercial strategy.
Build business cases and executive-level recommendations to support investment decisions.
Lead commercialization across US Kraken Flexibility
Define differentiated value propositions and positioning.
Partner with Marketing to develop go-to-market content, including sales enablement and customer-facing materials.
Partner with Product, Sales and Customer Success to develop commercialization plans, and to ensure successful launches and market adoption.
Drive analyst engagement, customer references and thought leadership to build awareness and adoption in the US market.
Be the voice of the market
Synthesize customer feedback from sales, customer success and other channels, and market research into actionable insights.
Bring an outside-in perspective to product and commercial planning.
Influence roadmap and GTM decisions through customer and market intelligence.
Own the competitive intelligence motion, tracking competitor propositions, market moves, customer needs, pricing signals and regulatory developments.
Run win/loss analysis in partnership with sales and product, and synthesize learnings into clear recommendations for positioning, product priorities and commercial strategy.
🧠 What you’ll bring to the party:
7+ years' experience in Product Marketing, Commercial Strategy, GTM Strategy, Product Management or Management Consulting.
Experience defining go-to-market strategies for enterprise software or technology products.
Background in utilities, demand response and flexibility programs, at least across one of the categories: Edge DERMS and/or Grid DERMS. Experience in both - an advantage;.
